Used Car Troubles...Help?!?

I purchased a car, 2003 Toyota Camry, from a used car dealer on Monday for $8000 dollars with 117,114 miles on it. I didn't drive it until Wednesday becuase there was no insurance on it. Well, Thursday while on the way home from my college registration, the car broke down on the side of my mountain. We had it taken off in a rollback to the nearest Toyota dealer where they told us that the motor had blown out. My question is, if the dealer says he won't do anything, are there legalities that will give us some of our money back or make him fix the car?
