Should all lobbying and lobbyists be banned and illegal?

They should certainly be kept out of the offices of elected politicians. They should also not be writing legislation for their "water boys" to carry to committee and Congress. With respect to the Constitution I would support stringent registration and reporting requirements. Let the FEC monitor their activities and money transactions.
