Can Donald Trump (if nominated) beat Obama in 2012?

His ego is tremendously out of whack and his style is self-aggrandizing but he IS worth $2.7 billion, he has demonstrated that he loves his country and good or bad is a brillant businessman. He did graduate from Wharton with (verifiably) outstanding marks. As a billionaire he is not beholden to any lobbyist group. He strikes a chord for many, many people somewhere deep down remiding many of our once unquestioned power and how far we have fallen so quickly. Reagan was ridiculed as he is now in 1979. How did that turn out again?
